Litter 2010
2nd week

Karin schrijft: "Ze ontwikkelen zich echt razendsnel. De oogjes zijn open aan het gaan, de eerste echt kwispelende staart heb ik gezien en ze proberen nu op 4 poten te lopen. Daarnaast hebben ze ook de eerste wormenkuur gehad, wat ze echt niet lekker vonden."

De neusjes, voetzooltjes en lippen beginnen al flink te kleuren. Claire, Diego en Manny liggen voorop en hebben al een hoop pigment. Sid en Scrat volgen dapper. Ze zitten rechtop, kijken rond, waggelen al iets op 4 poten en maken zich klaar om volgende weken de wereld echt te kunnen gaan verkennen. De geluidjes die ze maken worden ook steeds meer divers en het is schitterend om gewoon te kijken en te luisteren. Er beginnen al kleine verschillen zichtbaar te worden in hun karaktertjes, hoewel er nog weinig conclusies uit te trekken vallen. Wel is het erg interessant om te observeren en geeft een basis om de volgende weken een steeds beter beeld krijgen van alle individuele persoonlijkheden.

Hieronder staan weer de wekelijkse portretjes en daarnaast zijn er natuurlijk weer nieuwe foto's te vinden in Karin's album! Ook heeft Karin een filmpje van het grut gemaakt wat je hier kan bekijken.

Karin writes: "They develop with lightning speed. The eyes are opening, the first wagging tail has been spotted and they try to get around on all fours now. They also got their first deworming, which they did NOT appreciate."

The noses, feet and lips are getting more and more pigmented. Claire, Diego and Manny are a bit ahead and have a lot of pigment already. Sid and Scrat are following. The pups sit, look around, balance around on 4 legs and prepare themselves to explore the world in the next weeks. The sounds they produce get more and more divers as well and it is just such a joy to watch and listen to them! Small differences in characters are starting t show, although it is impossible to draw hard conclusions from them just yet. It is very interesting though and it provides a good basis to get a better and better idea of the individual personalities of the pups in the next weeks.
