Een drukke week voor de pups met veel uitjes. Veel ritjes met de auto en hier en daar mee in de 'sportwagon' (de SUV onder de hondenkarren haha) naar nieuwe plekjes in velden, bos, hei, tuinen en strand. De pups vinden het allemaal schitterend. De auto went en na een aantal keer melk te hebben gedronken in de rijdende auto was de associatie echt goed en ondertussen zijn ze er redelijk op hun gemak en slapen ze op de terugweg. Op de uitjes zelf zijn de pups vol ontdekkingslust, open en best zelfstandig, maar ze houden wel 'de roedel' goed in de gaten. Ze lopen ook al aardig mee op hun eerste wandelingetjes.
De pups hebben meerdere nieuwe honden ontmoeten, voor het eerst
paarden gezien, veel nieuwe mensen en met een aantal kinderen kennis gemaakt.
Alles wordt vrolijk begroet en bekeken. Ook de geluiden CD die meerdere keren
heeft gedraaid wordt compleet normaal gevonden.
Ook hebben ze hun eerste officiele veterinaire check up gehad en natuurlijk hun
eerste vaccinatie. Alle pups zijn gezond en fit verklaard. ;) Ze groeien dan ook
nog steeds allemaal prima en eten met smaak zowel vlees als brokjes en krijgen
heel soms nog een slokje melk van Summer. Gedurende deze week zijn ze gespeend
en gaan nu verder op het vlees en de brokjes. Ze hebben ook rodi worst en ander
lekkers leren kennen en goed gekeurd.

A busy week for the pups with lots of trips. Many car rides and here and there a
ride in the 'sportwagon' (the SUV of the doggyrides haha) to new places in the
fields, heather, forest, gardens and beach. The pups love it. They are getting
used to the car and after drinking milk several times in a moving car, the
association with the car is really positive and they are much more comfortable
in there. Often they just sleep on the way back and feel totally safe. On the
trips, the pups are full of drive to explore, very open and quite independent,
but they keep an eye on 'the pack' and return quickly if they go to far. They
also follow us and the other dogs on small walks.
The pups have met several new dogs, horses for the first time, lots of both new
and known people and a couple of kids. Everything gets a happy and open
approach. Also the CD with sounds (thunder, fireworks, traffic, livestock,
children, etc, etc) is completely normal and the pups hardly react on it.
They have also had their deworming again, their first vaccination and a
veterinary check up. All pups are healthy and in good condition! They are still
growing steadily and eat readily meat, kibble and now and then a little swig
milk. This week they are weaned and will continue on meat and kibble. The pups
have also tried and approved Rodi sausages and other treats.
