The Famous litter
8th week

Wat een week. De laatste volledige week voor de pups dat ze hier zijn. Tijd voor de puppy-test, nest inventarisatie van de ASCN, ogen-check bij de oogspecialist (alle pups zijn vrij van erfelijke oogafwijkingen!!) en besluiten welke pup waarheen gaat. Verder behendigheidstoestelletjes (baby-katteloop, slurf, tunnel) oefenen, lopen aan een lijntje, komen en zit clickeren, genoeg te doen voor die snelle Aussie-hersentjes. 
Het rijtje hondenrassen is verder uitgebreid. Ook grotere rassen, zoals een Flatcoated Retriever en Leonberger, zijn deze week een paar keer langsgekomen.
Met het nog warme weer, zijn de pups natuurlijk wel weer naar het water geweest op hun wandelingetjes en ze lopen al lekker mee met af en toe een verkoelend pootje-baden. Maar wat we nog steeds grondig misten in de socialisatie, is deze week opgelost! Regen!! Eindelijk! De pups kwamen en de zon ging schijnen, de pups gaan komende week weg en de zon verdwijnt. We hebben ontzettend genoten van dit geweldige week en de pups ook!
Mama Famy leek te weten dat haar kinders spoedig zullen uitvliegen en ze wilde alle tijd benutten. Ze heeft nog meer gespeeld dan de vorige week en het was een lust voor het oog om haar met alle pups door de tuin te zien rennen. Tussendoor probeerden de pups vaak nog wat melk te stelen, wat ze regelmatig lukten!

What a week. The last complete week for the puppies while they stay here. Time for puppy-test, litter-inventarisation of the ASCN, eye-check by the ophthalmologist (all pups are free of hereditary eye defects!!) and deciding which pup goes where. Furthermore, practicing agility obstacles (baby-dogwalk, chute, tunnel), walking on leash, come and sit clickering, enough to do for these quick Aussie-brains.
The list of dog breeds has extended even more. Also larger dog breeds, such as a Flatcoated Retriever and Leonberger, have visited several times this week.
With the ongoing warm weather, the pups have been to the water on their regular walks again of course. The walk along very good already with a refreshing bath every now and then. But what we still missed in our socialization program, has been solved this week! Rain!! Finally! The pups came and the sun started shining, the pups will leave coming week and the sun disappears. We have thoroughly enjoyed this lovely weather and so did the pups.
Mommy Famy seemed to know that her kids will leave soon and she wanted to use all time she had. She has played even more than previous weeks and it was a joy to watch her running through the garden with all puppies. In the meantime the pups often tried to steal some milk, what succeeded regularly!
