After Famy gave us a lovely litter in 2007, she could return to the performance world and would be retired from breeding. Or so was the plan...
But when the time came for Famy's co-owner to add another Aussie to the household, breeding plans for Famy
popped back in mind. Famy is one hell of a sport dog. She is competing and performing in agility, flyball, dogfrisbee, obedience, herding and
conformation. She really shows what versatility is all about. Lots of drive and
focus, a no quit attitude and a very biddable character. She has a correct
functional structure.
Of course, Famy's health checks are all fine: eyes are cleared
annually, A hips, MDR1 clear/clear
and HSF4 cataract clear/clear. All offspring that is
tested so far show the same outstanding health
results.

or her offspring on these pages: Famy
and Litter 2007.

Pups of these two very talented dogs are expected around
February 9th 2010.
We are very excited about this cross and expect versatile
working and performance prospects in a good looking package.

Part of the planning was directed towards the search for a suitable male.
A long search that lead us finally over the big pond and to Kansas. As for every litter, we considered
the strong and weak points of the female in relation to our breeding goal and
searched for a male that could compliment these points. For Famy we wanted a versatile male. A male that would compliment her qualities in
working and sports, because we definitely want to preserve that in the pups.
Preferably a male from working lines that works all kind of stock. For 'red rocket' Famy,
a relaxed character with a stable and tolerant disposition and a good off switch
is a must in a male!
But as good functional structure is very important to enable a long and healthy working
life of a working/sport dog, structure was given attention too.
Above all, the male should be healthy and should have a pedigree with a minimum
of health risks and at least not doubling up on any
health risks in Famy's pedigree.
Finding a male that would meet these criteria was a challenge. A blue bi male in Kansas
seemed to be what we were looking for! Daniel is SVCH WTCH CH. WildVine’s Bad n’ Blue CD RN PT HSAs HIAs JHDg GS-E-OP JS-E-OP RS-E MXJ AX DNA-VP.
He has proven himself extensively in many venues. He earned titles in stockdog
trials, conformation, agility, obedience and dockdog under three different
registries and earned the prestigious award of Supreme Versatility Champion in
ASCA.
Daniel is a strong dog, both in structure as in his working abilities. He is an
instinctive stockdog
and a tough dog on cattle. He is fluid and fast in agility
and is a joy to handle. Daniel's character is easy going and
comfortable in practically any situation. He has an outgoing personality and a
very stable disposition; not much phases Daniel!
Daniel has many generations of healthy and long living working and conformation
dogs behind him which we value highly. There are little known health risks in
his pedigree. The cross with Famy should produce healthy dogs with the pretty of the conformation dogs, but with the drive and working ability of the working
dogs!
